Join us in the beautiful Rabštejn Valley – also known as the “Rabštejn Switzerland” – where history, nature, and volunteering meet.
⛏️ You’ll take part in meaningful work such as maintaining the ruins of the former Rabštejn concentration camp, marking new hiking trails, and helping to preserve the underground tunnels and wartime factory from WWII. Your contribution will help protect this site of memory for future generations.
🗣️ The program also includes engaging encounters with students from Czechia, Germany, and international schools, as well as discussions with historians and eyewitnesses. Prepare for thought-provoking talks, oral history interviews, and excursions exploring the complex past of this exceptional location.
🏡 Accommodation is provided at a local tourist hostel with comfortable rooms for 2+ people and all necessary facilities close at hand.
🤝 This weekend workcamp is open to volunteers from all over the world – a great chance to make new friends across cultures, share experiences and viewpoints, and build lasting connections beyond the weekend.
