Invitation for the Round Table "Learning by Volunteering"

International Round Table is intended for all volunteers and those interested in volunteering, especially the representatives of municipalities, NGOs, institutions, and companies. By choosing the topic of “Learning by Volunteering”, we would like to emphasize how volunteering contributes to development of volunteers’ relevant competences.

10.30 – 14.00 What was happening in workcamp season 2016

  • sharing of experiences from workcamps, presentations of participants of the Serbian workcamps study visit
  • Inputs for cooperation – company volunteering, workcamps for families and teenagers
  • Lunch and space for informal networking

14.20 – 15.00 „Me and Volunteering“ – presentation of volunteers’ experience:

  • Anna Krátká, participant of workcamp on a farm in Finland
  • Radek Švejda, volunteer on workcamps in Italy, France and at many organisations in the Czech Republic
  • Marta Tomanová, organisation Tvrz Veselí, organizer of workcamp in the Czech Republic
  • and others (volunteers from Slovenia)

15.00 – 15.30 Application IM-PROVE – „How do we find out, what have we learnt by volunteering?“ Introduction of a new application, which will help to solve this dilemma, and of other outputs of project Upgrade Yourself.

The Round Table is intended for all volunteers and those interested in volunteering, especially the representatives of municipalities, NGOs, institutions, and companies.

Participation at the Round Table is free of charge. Programme will be carried out in Czech and English, interpretation will be arranged.

Registration in advance is compulsory; please fill in this online questionnaire by 7th November 2016.
