Global Volunteering Cycle

INEX’s Global Volunteering Cycle is a learning-based volunteering programme that supports volunteers throughout the entire journey – from preparation and project participation to reflection and follow-up activities.

The Global Volunteering Cycle includes three key parts

Choosing a project and applying
Preparatory training
Post-arrival reflection weekend or one of other sharing possibilities – instagram handover, travel evening, presentation at schools

All parts of the cycle are open to anyone interested in volunteering, and participants can join individual activities independently. This includes projects in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Jordan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Morocco, Mongolia, Taiwan and Ukraine.

Preparatory training is a key part of the cycle and helps participants place their volunteering experience in a broader global and social context. The training is based on critical thinking methods, reflection on global inequalities and North–South relations, and encourages participants to explore their own perspectives and identities.
