International conference on Quality Standards and Evaluation Methods in International Volunteering
The conference was held in Mayor´s residence in Prague and its main goal was to create a space for sharing experience, perspectives and good practice in assessing quality and evaluation of international volunteering programs. The conference hosted experts and professionals from international volunteering NGO´s from different EU countries, Tanzania, Uganda and the Czech Republic.
All the participants including representatives of Czech NGOs, representatives of Czech local authorities and other interested professionals had an opportunity to learn, share and reflect upon current trends and topics related to the preparation and training of international volunteers, to the support of their engagement after return back to their home communities, to the quality in partnerships between sending and hosting organizations and to the impact of the voluntary services in community activities.
The participants of the conference had also an opportunity to present their own projects and organizations, share their perspectives and network both at the conference within the participants fair and during informal program.
