National and international partnership

Cooperation with local, national and international organizations is a fundamental prerequisite for projects coordination and overall work of INEX-SDA. We are members or partners of these networks:

National partnership

Czech Council of Children and Youth (ČRDM) was established in June 1998 by eight organisations of children and youth. ČRDM is the national youth council in the Czech Republic and a reliable partner of government administration. It is composed of almost 100 non-governmental children and youth organisations with more than 205 000 individual members.
The mission of the ČRDM is to promote conditions for quality life and overall development of children and young people. ČRDM fulfils its mission by supporting non-formal education and activities of its members, especially by creating legal, economical, social and cultural conditions suitable for their activities. ČRDM represents interests of its members towards home and foreign bodies, organisations and institutions.

The Youth in Action Programme is the biggest EU programme for non-formal education. It offers youth exchanges, voluntary service, youth initiatives projects, involvement in democracy projects, seminars and trainings, cooperation with partner countries and other interesting activities.
The Youth in Action Programme is aimed at young people aged between 13 and 30 who are legally resident in one of the Programme Countries or, depending on the nature of the Action, in one of the Partner Countries. The programme addresses youth workers and other actors in the field of youth and non-formal education as well.

Czech Forum for Development Co-operation (FoRS) - is a platform of Czech non-governmental non-profit organisations (NGOs), involved in development co-operation, development education and humanitarian assistance. FoRS was established to represent its members vis-à-vis the institutional stakeholders in development co-operation, as well as to provide services to its members in terms of capacity building, information service and expert consultancy.
FoRS is the association of legal entities according to the Czech Law, non-profit non-governmental organisation. FoRS was founded by 15 NGOs in September 2002, and registered at the register of the Prague City Hall, No. 56/2150/02 from October 7, 2002. In the course of the four years FoRS has already 28 members and 12 observers.

Česko proti chudobě (Czechia against Poverty)- is a campaign organized and managed by the steering committee of civil society representatives formed by development and environmental organizations.The ČESKO PROTI CHUDOBĚ campaign started in January 2005 when twenty nine organizations and think-tanks formed a nation-wide civil society coalition, inspired then by similar coalitions in EU and G8 countries.

International partnership

The Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations - The Alliance is a European based International Non-Governmental Youth Organisation founded in 1982, aims at the widest possible co-operation in International Voluntary Service at a European and a Global level. It works as a network of independent and active national organizations, which work together on the quality and development of International Voluntary Service. The Alliance provides a structure that facilitates and supports events, projects and activities aimed at cooperation between its members and partners.
Membership is open to all national organizations involved in Voluntary Service, who promote international understanding, peace and voluntary service, common search for human betterment, and encourage and support wherever possible local voluntary programs enabling people, especially youth, to make new friends and encounter and understand different cultures, with an educational objective. The Alliance does not impinge upon the autonomy of member organizations. The Alliance has at the moment 43 members from 27 countries in Europe, America and Asia. INEX-SDA is the member organisation since 1991.

CCIVS at UNESCO - Co-ordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) is a non-governmental international organisation founded in 1948 under the aegis of UNESCO. It operates within the framework of the UNESCO and working for the development and coordination of voluntary service worldwide, on the national, regional and international levels. CCIVS works with about 300 organisations worldwide, the membershi does not impinge upon the autonomy of any member. INEX-SDA is a member organisation since 1998.

Service Civil International (SCI)- is a peace organisation founded in 1921, that co-ordinates short and long term voluntary projects through 43 branches and groups worldwide and number of partner organisations. The aims of the association are to promote peace, international understanding and solidarity, social justice, sustainable development, and respect for the environment. INEX-SDA is partner organisation of SCI.

GLEN – Global Education Network of Young Europeans - is a joint non-profit, politically independent initiative of eleven organisations from old and new member states of the European Union.
GLEN aims at contributing to a better understanding of global interdependency, fair and sustainable ways of living, to a responsible development policy and to North-South relations based upon equal partnership and mutual respect. www.glen-europe.org
