Vision (the long-term aim of INEX-SDA)
INEX-SDA is striving towards:
- a tolerant and open society respecting cultural differences and honouring principles of sustainable development
- active and responsible citizens who take interest in the world around them and take part in publicly beneficial activities without the claim for financial profit
- international and intercultural cooperation based on the principles of equal approach to all, mutual respect and understanding
Mission
The mission of INEX-SDA is by organising international voluntary projects, educational programs and campaigns to:
1. assist the development of a tolerant and open society and
2. encourage an active and responsible approach to the world around us both locally and globally
We create space in which young people especially can gain new experiences, expand their skills and and make their own views of the complexity of the world around them.
Self-conception
Volunteerism, as we understand it, can be defined as
- Opportunity to become an active member of civic society
- Support of local and international initiatives
- Means of informal education enabling people to master important knowledge, skills, attitudes and values which they can use in their personal, civic and professional lives.

INEX – Association for Voluntary Activities is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1991 to carry out and support international voluntary work and intercultural education. The mission of INEX-SDA is by organising international voluntary projects, educational programs and campaigns to:
